Arroyo to Sign 2008 National Budget

MANILA — President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo said she would finally sign on Tuesday the P1.127-trillion budget, which she described as a reflection of the will of the government to invest in the people and continue growing the economy.
Arroyo, during the 4th Mindanao Cooperative Summit at the Lim Ket Kai Center in Cagayan de Oro City on Monday, acknowledged members of Congress for passing the budget last January 28.
