The Passion of Christ

March 16, 2008

One of the most awaited celebration in Christian belief is the observance of the Holy Week. This should be the time of recollection of sins, renewance of faith and accepting God again to our life. A great movie to watch as we share God’s sufferings, it is good to start to internalize what and how really God saved us from our sins.

The Passion of the Christ is a 2004 film co-written, co-produced and directed by Mel Gibson. It is based primarily on biblical accounts of the arrest, trial, and crucifixion of Jesus Christ, events commonly known as "The Passion". The film’s dialogue is in Aramaic, Latin, and Hebrew, with subtitles. It was filmed in Matera, Italy and Cinecittà Studios, Rome.
