TODAY IN SCIENCE HISTORY

In 1884, a patent for "flaked cereal" was applied for by Dr. John Harvey Kellogg. He was trying to improve the vegetarian diet of his hospital patients, by searching for a digestible bread-substitute by the process of boiling wheat. Kellogg accidentally left a pot of boiled wheat to stand and become tempered. When it was put through a rolling process, each grain of wheat emerged as a large, thin flake. When the flakes were baked, they became crisp and light, creating an easy to prepare breakfast when milk was added. His brother Will Keith Kellogg (W.K.) began his cereal-making career in the 1890’s when he assisted his brother, then saw the potential, and on 19 Feb 1906, he created the Battle Creek Toasted Corn Flake Co.

Realize by Colbie Caillat

May 14, 2008

I really like this song. It seems that I can situate myself to the root message of this. Here is its lyrics:

Colbie Caillat - Realize lyrics

V1: Take time to realize,
That your warmth is
Crashing down on in.
Take time to realize,
That I am on your side
Didn’t I, Didn’t I tell you.

But I can’t spell it out for you,
No it’s never gonna be that simple
No I cant spell it out for you

C: If you just realize what I just realized,
Then we’d be perfect for each other
and will never find another
Just realized what I just realized
we’d never have to wonder if
we missed out on each other now.

V2: Take time to realize
Oh-oh I’m on your side
didn’t I, didn’t I tell you.
Take time to realize
This all can pass you by
Didn’t I tell you

But I can’t spell it out for you,
no it’s never gonna be that simple
no I can’t spell it out for you.

C: If you just realized what I just realized
then we’d be perfect for each other
then we’d never find another
Just realized what I just realized
we’d never have to wonder if
we missed out on each other now.

V3: It’s not always the same
no it’s never the same
if you don’t feel it too.
If you meet me half way
If you would meet me half way.
It could be the same for you.

C: If you just realize what I just realized
then we’d be perfect for each other
then we’d never find another
Just realize what I just realized
we’d never have to wonder
Just realize what I just realized

If you just realize what I just realized

OoOoOOo

missed out on each other now
missed out on each other now

Realize, realize
realize, realize

It is believed that earning money these days is very complicated. Chasing the suitable job is too hard to reach. We are on a universal object, to land a first-rate job and make money out from it. My friend Kyle has been working in the production for various years now. With those times of hard work, he said that it is not actually easy to earn money.  Yes, they said that having an employment would solve all your problems, but actuality it is not. He furthered explain that he can not even apportion even a pair of new glasses just for his own gain. Considering that he has to disburse his service bills, his monthly stipend and food and especially to give some part of it to his family. It is really tough to picture out that we, the one who worked hard, could not give to our own self. But, there are really times that we have to purchase something according to our own motivation, and besides, it is our own funds to waste. Most of the time, Kyle always had this stiff time to budget his money, good thing there are payday loan online that are ready to help us.
